The Viking Challenge and Crusade are extreme wilderness mud runs in beautiful Otter Tail County. Located just 5 miles North of Fergus Falls in Northwestern Minnesota, The Viking Challenge is a permanent annual event created on over 300 acres of woods and trails. A full day for men, women, teams, families, and anyone willing to get dirty in the mud and able to navigate the obstacles. Fun for all ages, all ability levels, the event features DJ music, live music, food, beverages (including adult beverages), and an extreme wilderness challenge for all.

The Viking Challenge - Extreme wilderness 5K Mud Run You will be able to register on-site August 24th & 25th. Come at least two hours prior to your race time to ensure enough time to park and check in.
NEW for 2013 swamp soccer and mud volleyball. August 24th. Co Ed teams, equal number of men and women on court/ field at play time. Teams are $55 for each activity. Teams can register by emailing thevcc5k@gmail.com
Onsite camping available at a rate of $25 per night.
