Hi,
We have a donation of a trip for two to Las Vegas. We have created a give-a-way of the trip at the end of the mud run on September 15th.
The contest is simple.
You can receive:
One entry for every poster that you post somewhere in a public location. Take a picture of the flyer posted and then post your picture on our facebook page at www.facebook.com/thevikingchallenge . (You must post with your name "tagged" and the location of the flyer on our facebook page.)
Additional ways to get entry into the give-a-way:
Five entries for registering for The Viking Challenge event and participating - these will be automatically entered when you register for the event.
Five additional entries for being a team organizer and team captain for The Viking Challenge - these will be automatically entered for the team captain when you register your team.
Ten additional entries if you obtain any local, regional, national, media coverage, story, public service ad, or mention and promotion of The Viking Challenge event or website address and charities on any TV, radio, newspaper, or ad and link from any media or organizations website to www.TheVikingChallenge.com website.
One entry for every pair of tennis shoes donated to Greensneakers at our event on September 15th.
Ten entries for every $100.00 donated to any of our charity organizations through our website and registration process while registering for the event. Team captains can raise funds for their charity selected and make the presentation on September 15th to representatives of the organization.
As you can see our goal is to raise as much money toward your organizations as possible through this event. It is a 5K mud run but it is much more than that. It is an opportunity for all of us working on this event to make a difference in cancer research, cancer treatment, and cancer patients and their families lives.
Let me know what you can do to help promote or become active in our event with us. Share a story of a child with cancer, a child with cancer that you would like to invite and we will give FREE registrations for them and a family member, or any other ideas you might have. Maybe a team from your organizations and a story about your involvement in the event. News stories and coverage of your organizations in your local media, newspapers, or any radio or TV connections you might have. There is much potential for raising thousands of dollars for CCRF, Lake Region Cancer Center, and Dough for Joe!!
Let's get going! Start by posting flyers and posting on facebook. Organize a team. Write a story and submit to the media.
